This 100-acre parcel has approximately 1000 feet of road frontage along Highway US 41. It is located in northern Baraga County between Baraga and Chassell. It would make a great location to build your home along the highway or a camp in back. The property is in Michigan's CFA program. This property is only three-quarters of a mile from the Sturgeon River Sloughs State Wildlife Management Area. The Sturgeon Sloughs management area is on a floodplain in northwestern Baraga and eastern Houghton Counties. The state forest management area is 8,073 acres in size. Wildlife management objectives address the habitat requirement for Canada goose, mallards, American woodcock, black bear and eastern bluebird.
